Until I'm struck with inspiration and gain enough discipline to write fanfic, this journal is mainly going to concern itself with fic recs (I thought that the sentence sounded better this way than with "going to mainly concern itself", but is there some rule of grammar that I can go by?).
Each rec is going to have its own lj entry, which will be formatted in this way:
Title: Example (will have link[s]* to fic)
Author: Example (will have links[s]** to author)
Fandom: Example (title) by Example (author name, if a text)
Wordcount: # (via
http://www.wordcounttool.com/. I don't have a text editor with wordcounting function)
Rec: Example (why I liked it)
*will list as many URLs as I can find. In order of personal preference: W=on author's website, J=on author's journal, A=on fic archive, O=other
**W=author's website, J=author's journal, E=author's email
